SUZANNE has dedicated her career through serving others as a Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW) through Mental Health work, Advocacy, and Program Development. Suzanne Develops Programs using art to create awareness, healing and change.
After earning a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society from California State University of Los Angeles, Suzanne continued her education and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a focus in Community organizing, planning, and administration.
Suzanne has over 10 years of extensive clinical psychotherapy experience working with diverse populations in diverse settings, addressing a variety of issues and behaviors. Using this skill, She continues to dedicate her time in working clinically with adolescents, parents, teachers, and school administrators, in conducting stress management, suicide prevention, depression workshops/trainings, and group therapy sessions. Suzanne developed a HUMAN RIGHTS YOUTH Group, which has allowed teenagers to advocate for better mental health reforms and treatment for the past 4 years. With her unique background in the arts as a dance teacher, choreographer, and documentary filmmaker, Suzanne has used media as a tool for change and growth.
