Sam grew up in the slums of India and was once a beneficiary of a sponsor’s generosity for his education. Today, he stands as a living example of how one act of support can transform a life. Education changed his future and inspired him to begin giving back to society at a very young age.

Now based in the United States, Sam works as an IT professional managing IT Technical Support Operations for government contracts. Alongside his full-time career, he serves as the voluntary CEO  of Uplift a Child International in Silver Spring, Maryland, an organization operating in seven countries: the United States, India, Nepal, DR Congo, Kenya, South Africa, and Rwanda.

Sam has traveled to 75 countries across six continents. His lifelong mission is to impact one million children and raise $6.45 billion to support that vision.

For Sam, retirement is not part of the journey. He believes he is only getting started and is committed to dedicating his time, talent, and energy to making a lasting difference in the world for as long as he lives.
