The 2025 Coalition for Skin Diseases (CSD) Hill Day, held from May 18 to 20 in Washington, D.C., united over 75 patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and nonprofit organizations to champion the needs of more than 84 million Americans living with skin diseases. This flagship event focused on urging Congress to enhance access to dermatological care, expand treatment options, and increase funding for skin disease research.

Among the notable participants was Massé World, a U.S.-based public charity dedicated to supporting individuals with vitiligo and albinism. The organization’s involvement underscored its commitment to combating stigma and promoting inclusivity for those affected by these conditions.

A highlight of Massé World’s participation was the advocacy of Faizy Jamal, an influencer with a mission to fight skin-related discrimination. Faizy’s engagement in the Hill Day activities brought personal insight and urgency to the discussions, emphasizing the real-world impact of policy decisions on individuals with skin conditions.

The event featured speakers, including Stephen Taylor of VStrong, who highlighted the unique challenges faced by individuals with vitiligo and called for increased research and support. It also received strong backing from policymakers, including Representative John Joyce of Pennsylvania, a leading advocate for skin health.
